if you're ever working on a project and

you're trying to get a couple of things

to line up maybe that's text that might

be changing on your screen an easy way

to make sure things are in line is go

over to your toolbox go down to effects

grab an adjustment clip and put that on

top of all of the footage that you might

be looking at by stretching it out then

go down to open effects and search for

grid grab the grid and drop that right

into your adjustment clip and now you

have a grid that you can use for

reference lines you can adjust that grid

by selecting the adjustment clip and

going up to the effects tab of it in the

inspector and then just setting the

amount of rows and cells that you think

you might need then you can use that

grid to grab things like your text and

get them aligned in your project then

just disable that track when you're done
